Get Your Run On

For those of you who followed my old blog(s) or know me IRL know my history with running. I started running in 2012 to lose weight. I ended up running all of the time and even did a bunch of 5ks.

Then, I picked up weight lifting in 2014 and my running + races slowed down a bit. In 2015 I decided I wanted to run a half marathon and April 2015 I did just that.

So running and I go way back and I truly love being a runner.

Ever since my half in April my running has slowed down a bit. Especially since joining crossfit and working full time. I'll try and get out and do 1 run a week (which is pathetic) but I have such a running itch right now and I am trying to decide what I want to do about it. Right now I can run a solid 6 miles so training should go really great.

Here are my current options race wise that I would consider...

Charleston January 2016

Knoxville April 2016

For my next half I really want to buy a nice watch and different pair of headphones. Also, I would love to get fit for my perfect pair of running shoes @ Big Peach Running Co.

I have a lot of decisions to make in the next couple of weeks.
