5 week experiment update: gluten

Remember the post about my stomach issues?!

(If that isn't a good way to reel you into a post I don't know what is!)







Anyways! Last week I tried to steer clear of all gluten and let me just tell you I did not prepare well at all. Gluten is in almost EVERYTHING. So crazy. I avoided the obvious things that have gluten but I am sure gluten was hiding in something that I was eating. All week I had egg whites, chicken sausage, GF turkey chili, homemade chicken tortilla soup, Luna Bars, whey, carrots and hummus and no stomach issues. Which is pretty great. I don't 100% feel like gluten is my problem but I am going to continue on with no gluten this week plus no sugar. Woof. Someone better come check on me at the end of the week to see if I am alive.

Note: I am not cutting out natural fruit sugar! Basically I will be eating the same stuff as last week minus the Luna Bars, I will replace with Lara Bars. I am over the turkey chili for now so this week I made paleo turkey meatloaf and paleo chicken salad. Recipes coming soon :)
