Why Paleo?
I mean the better question is why not paleo? I have heard how amazing it is time and time again from people who eat strictly paleo or even paleo-ish. The way it makes your body feel and how it benefits your performance in the gym is enough to convince me to start transitioning my diet.
See, I have an addiction to sugar. I love PSLs, diet dr. pepper, cupcakes and brownies. I try everything in my power to have the willpower not to eat those things but in reality I do. I am always on a mission to cut sugar and bad carbs out of my diet but they somehow sneak in. When will I say enough is enough? It honestly bothers me that I spend my money and precious time to meal prep, eat really good and work my butt off at crossfit and then have cheats hindering me. My question is, what would my body actually look like if I finally cut dairy, sugar, processed food and bad carbs once and for all?
I am constantly on a mission to be better, look better and feel better. Will I fail at first, possibly. Will I give it my all, definitely. It will be a slow transition at first but I am confident I will be successful in this! I am going strong so far this week. Bacon is totally bae and is currently saving me. Kidding but not.
