Mondays man... something about them just really sucks. Although, I'm on a mission to try and make mine a little bit better by starting my day off with a 2 mile run. I decided I am going to do a 2-3 mile run every morning before work (until it gets too cold) to boost my spirits and metabolism.
I hope you all had a great weekend despite hearing about the Paris bombings. Not to go into huge detail on my feelings about it but I felt so so sad all weekend. I unplugged a little from social and spent time with my family and Andrew. I also indulged
But in all seriousness, cfa happened this weekend and so did a craft beer festival. I call that living life with balance and today, I am back on it. If you do good during the week two days of the weekend won't kill you. Enjoy life with friends, family, good food and drinks. LIFE IS TOO SHORT.
Anyways, I'm back on it this week with...
Breakfast: Egg scramble (2 eggs, onions, peppers, 2 pieces of bacon and 50g red potato)
Lunch: Crockpot chicken with broccoli or roasted zucchini and carrots. As opposed to last week, no rice or potato in my lunch meals this week, loading up on veggies.
Dinner POST WOD: Crockpot chicken, broccoli or roasted zucchini and carrots. Either 50-75g of rice or red potato.
Note: I have been doing a terrible job at getting my protein shakes in. I am going to make a better effort this week to get my shake in. I am not getting enough protein and I think it is hurting more than helping.
