Friday Five

Life Latley: How is Thanksgiving next week? This month has flown. This year has flown and I am barely hanging on, guys. Luckily, I am still hanging onto my diet and workout schedule. I think this time of year people tend to fall off the wagon and gain 5lbs. Not for this chickadee. At work, two of my co-workers and I have shared our weights out loud *cringe* and we are all on a mission to lose 5lbs over the holidays. #Blessed to have co-workers who are into fitness and weight loss like myself!




Crossfit: Two Mondays ago I finally did a workout with rx kipping pull-ups. I have been able to do them for a while now but didn't feel comfortable adding them into a Metcon. The next Metcon I saw that asked for pull-ups, I decided to just go for it and was pleasantly surprised that I survived the workout! I killed my hands in the process (see: ripped) but survived nonetheless. Now that I have graduated to regular kipping pull-ups I can't go back to using the bands. I can't tell if I am happy or depressed about this. YAY PULL-UPS!

Cheat Meal: Souper Jenny in Atlanta is my jam. If you are local in Atlanta and love Panera/Atl Bread Co. Super Jenny is for you! This week they had a Thanksgiving soup with stuffing balls. O. M. G. Don't worry, I didn't get it and am now regretting that I didn't. Also, Souper Jenny is hardly a 'cheat meal' if you ask me ;)























Workout Pants: In my opinion Old Navy activewear is super underrated. Their yoga and compression pants have been awesome to crossfit in and you can't beat the price point. I can get like four pairs for the price of one lulu. However, they probably won't last nearly as long but, we will see!
