Friday Five: Acts of Kindness

There is so much bad in this world. I feel like every time I open up social media I always end up clicking on something terrible that makes me question our society. In reality (or at least I'd like to hope) there is so much more GOOD in this world. I have made it sort of a mission of mine to reach out and be kinder, not that I wasn't in the first place but it is so important to go out of your way to make people feel good especially during the holidays!

1. Send A Card Or Small Gift
Society 6 has tons of cute and inexpensive little cards and mugs that a friend or family member would love. Snail mail is so rare these days. A cute card could brighten someones day!

2. Send an eGift card
Companies have made it SO easy to send an egift card right to someones inbox. My personal favorite is to send Starbucks ecards!

3.  Bring a co-worker or friend a coffee
If you are picking up a coffee for yourself grab another for someone! Or better yet, pay for the person behind you! If I am ever close to baes work, I usually stop and grab him a coffee and drop it off. Its the little things.

4. Send a random 'thinking of you' text or call
A text message goes a long way OR even a phone call. Just this morning I got a phone call from one of my best friends who I hadn't spoken to in a while due to work and being busy. It was so great to catch up and talk about life. Total day changer!

5. Make someone dinner / bring home dinner one night
After a long day of working, the last thing people like to figure out is dinner. Cooking something simple or grabbing something to go for someone else can be super thoughtful at the end of a long day.

There is always a way to be kind. Going a teeny bit out of your way to spread kindness is always worth it especially with the stress of the holiday season. I'm linking up with A Liz and Sept Farm today!

With love and kindness,
