Progress Update + Eating and Drinking



I am down another two pounds since my last blog check-in. In total I am down 8 pounds. Slow and steady wins the race when it comes to weight loss. I have been working hard and staying consistent. Note: Not every day is perfect for me and a I do reward myself!  :)

My biggest concern when deciding I was going to hunker down and try and lose 10-15 pounds was the fact that I would have to sacrifice losing some strength. Now that I am essentially halfway to my weightless goal I can report that I feel stronger than ever! Especially when it comes to body weigh movements such as box jumps, pull-ups and hand stand push ups. My lifts feel the same which is good all things considered. I'll be honest, I usually opt out of heavy lifting days at my gym and go run instead. This is mostly due to training for another half marathon.
