The past few weeks I have really hunkered down following macros and working with my coach. Below are some meals I have been eating. Mind you, not everyday is perfect for me. Consistency is what keeps me successful.
They built a new Whole Foods by my house. This has been the best thing to happen to me within the past four months, I wish I was kidding.
Premier Protein shakes are great when I am in a bind and need to get protein in with our sacrificing fats and carbs.
Home Chef night's for the win!! I LOVE that they provide Macros for each serving. It really helps me plan my day.
My coach shared a recipe from Oxygen and I jumped all over it. PSL protein bars. The macros are money and the bars are ACTUALLY good. They aren't overly protein tasting and they are moist. I ended up make two batches of these bars with two different brands of protein and I highly recommend you use a GOOD QUALITY protein. My favorite = Atomic Strength Fuel x30. It makes a difference.
My best friend Caley can attest to this, I did NOT like any kind of sparkling water up until a few weeks ago. I was a strictly water and the occasional Coke Zero kind of girl. However, I am changed. I can't live my live without a refreshing sparkling water. It is seriously life changing. Want to know the trick to liking it? Force yourself to drink it, haha! Seriously though, I just forced myself to drink it and now I am semi-obsessed. It has to be super cold. I truly think switching from my 1-3 sodas a week to sparkling water has really mad a difference in my over all health. Whole Foods has some great sparkling water like the one above. La Croix is just ok but, my #1 favorite is Kroger brand lemon. SO good and refreshing!
