Gym Essentials









































I have A LOT of gym accessories. It is not some huge secret. I think folks that do Crossfit naturally gain all sorts of accessories overtime. Some accessories are nessisary some not so much. I am going to share with you my every day go-to essentials that I keep at the gym!

I fully admit it, I have a lot of workout necessities. In my opinion folks that do Crossfit naturally (over time) gain all sorts of accessories. Some accessories are necessary while some, are more or less just for fun. I am going to share with you all my every day go-to workout essentials that I keep at the gym!

One - Metcons. My favorite cross-training shoe, ever. I am on my third pair and would never try anything else. They are perfect for both WOD's and heavy lifting. They are light but sturdy. They are not the best for a long distance run but you can get by doing short distance running in them.

Two - Weight Belt. An item I don't wear often but when I do I am super thankful. This belt in particular is an affordable and great find.

Three - Knee Sleeves. I honestly feel like I wear my knee sleeves more for protection from rope climbs, whoops! I do slip these on for support if I am squatting fairly heavy or if I am doing heavy lunges. I love this brand. They are thick and machine washable.

Four - Wrist Wraps. I love these wrist wraps that are affordable and supportive. As my crossfit journey continues the more frequently I wear these wraps. Whether we are doing hang cleans or hand stand pushups I can most likely be found wearing these (unless I forgot before the clock starts...).

Five - Jump Rope. This is the rope I learned how to do doubles on and up until about a week ago (when it broke) I was convinced this was the only rope I could do doubles on. This is just a great speed rope. Any other rope will do but point being, finding your own personal rope is crucial.

Six - Victory Grips - 100% the best investment I have made since beginning crossfit. I bought these grips January 2018 and they are still holding strong today. I wear these for pull-up and toes to bar. Quite frankly, I probably cannot do those movements without my grips on. I have the three finger leather grips. Highly recommend.

Seven -Adipowders Lifters - I don't wear these often but when I do I fall in love with them all over again. They are my trusty lifting shoes and are there for me for any time I do heavy squats, cleans and snatches.
