Trying to get my health on
I've just been slinking along trying to survive this thing called LIFE. I know that sounds so dramatic but most days I feel like I am straight up drowning. I will spare you the details but, life will get slightly less busy in the next week or so! In the midst of a crazy life, I have been really making a huge effort to make healthier choices, choose organic, read ingredient labels, take my vitamins etc. I have incorporated tons of new vitamins to my arsenal. I still need to add in more but here are my current favorites....
Rutin - to support vascular strength/ helps the body produce collagen and vitamin C/ helps blood circulation and many more things. Probiotic - Live bacteria and yeasts to support a healthy gut! Tumeric - A natural anti-inflammatory. Multi Vitamin.
Next to buy on my list is fish oil!
I have been loving what probiotics has done for me and my gut and now I am just so very obsessed with probiotic drinks as well. I love love Kevita. I am actually sipping on a tangerine Kevita as we speak!
My next challenge is to like green juice. It is all a process.
As far as reading labels go, I really truly look for things that are have minimal, easy to read ingredients. Just keepin' it bare and basic with my food. It doesn't need to be so complicated and full of additives and toxins.
SPOILER ALERT: I had some cheese dip the other night when Andrew and I were on a date night. I just want to point out I am not perfect. This is a process. I am trying to get my health on. I try really hard but if I want the cheese dip, I will eat the cheese dip. You have to balance out all of the greens somehow??! It is important to live your life and eat the cheese dip occasionally (not everyday) and it is important to be mindful of what you eat and read labels. It is all about balance.
Cheers to a healthy and balanced lifestyle!
